randy-couture98765News is just coming out about UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture’s new contract. But it isn’t a contract with the UFC—it’s with SpikeTV and consequently with Bellator. The agreement says that The Natural will work on several projects on Spike (and possibly with other divisions within Viacom). His first gig with his new company will be a coaching role on Bellator’s new reality show this year.

That’s unexpected news for sure. Couture has become a legend in the UFC as a 5-time champion and a member of the exclusive UFC Hall of Fame. It will be very interesting to see how the UFC family—mostly Dana White—feel about Couture’s new job. My guess is, they can’t possibly be too happy about it.

The Bellator reality show will kick things off for Couture. He will be one of the coaches on the show, which begins filming in February. Of course Couture has already branched out beyond his UFC circles. He has recently jumped to Hollywood acting roles including the Expendables franchise.
