Oops! Tito just found out he’s old, he sucks and no one cares about him

Tito OrtizThis would be kind of like Paul Daley making a grandiose announcement that he’s made the decision that he would think about returning to the UFC if they contacted him.

Oh wait.

Still, UFC Hall of Famer and MMA legend Tito Ortiz was probably hoping for a more positive reaction to his comments about possibly coming back to fight. You could say it went over like a fart in church. Only this stunk way more.

Over the weekend White was asked about Tito, who teased a comeback last week.  White’s response probably felt like a soccer kick to the huge, oversize cranium of the former champ.

“Who gives a shit? Does anyone want to see Tito Ortiz in a superfight, with who? I mean, Tito’s lost every fight that he’s had over the last three years or something. He won one fight in the last three years. Tito hung in there and made some more money. He was a guy who was around in the early days, and, you know, time for Tito to move on. Tito is the guy who back in the early days was like ‘I’m going to retire young from this sport and I’m going to become an actor, and my Punishment clothing line is going through the roof, and I’m not going to be that guy who hangs around in this sport too long’ … now Tito’s like, yeah, I want to come back. I haven’t won a fight in three years and I’m old and obviously Tito needs money. He needs money.”

Umm, that’s pretty strong. IN fairness, Tito’s only won one fight in about seven years, but really, isn’t that just piling on?
