Cain Velasquez vs Junior Dos SantosFor the second straight time, Junior Dos Santos got his face tenderized by the UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. Apparently, Dos Santos’ face wasn’t the only thing that took a beating. His memory is a little off as well. It seems he remembers very little of the fight.

According to an article on Fighters Only, “Cigano” doesn’t recall much of the UFC 166 main event and after the conclusion of the fight; he actually thought he was knocked out in the 2nd round. We all watched him speak to Joe Rogan afterwards inside the cage; but again, Junior has no recollection of it.

That sounds pretty dangerous, but here have been many fighters in the past who have relayed similar stories of fighting without much memory of it. Still, the beating Dos Santos took will likely put him on the road to recovery for the next couple weeks until he’s able to shake off the physical damage.

In a message to Combate.com, he said, “I’m feeling good. I came to the hospital to have some stitches in the cut I had. The pain is only in the heart, because I didn’t manage to give a good performance in the Octagon.”

Dang, that’s scary.
