conormcgregorThis guy is starting to rub me the wrong way—and honestly, I don’t’ usually mind being rubbed. But Conor McGregor’s mouth is getting in the way of me jumping on his admittedly substantial bandwagon.

The Irishman, who is currently nursing a bad knee, definitely has no problems with his mouthor his hands. His current target is Diego Sanchez. He blasted a few tweets insulting Sanchez, and challenging him to a fight in Dublin next year. Here’s a taste of McGregor’s trash talk to Sanchez…

Only reason you haven’t been cut 2 Bellator, with the other has-beens, is because you defend shots with your nose. 0-4 #CUT

You brain dead, stuttering fool. Read the fine print. And put your bib on so you don’t drool on my tweets.

Moderately funny stuff, but here’s the problem. Sanchez is ready to fight in March. McGregor won’t be. Yet despite the fact that it’s McGregor’s injury preventing the fight from happening, he claims Diego is ducking him. Interesting.

This dude has gotten a lot of hype and talked a lot of trash to an awful lot of fighters in a very short time. Just for fun, let’s look at his UFC record.

He beat Marcus Brimage—on Facebook. And then he beat Max Holloway by decision—on the prelims. That’s it. He’s seriously climbing my list of “guys I’d like to see get KTFO” rather rapidly.
