ufcfightpassThe UFC has been talking about launching a digital, subscription based network of late, and now some details are coming out. It will be called “UFC Fight Pass,: and it carries a price tag of about $10 per month—of fine, it’s only $9.99, but I like to round up.

The network will carry a huge fight library of past events, live fights, and other original content such as some of the foreign based Ultimate Fighter.

With so many more events scheduled in 2014—reportedly closing in on 50 events—many of them will be taking place outside the U.S. While the UFC has catered to the American crowd by scheduling past events to air at reasonable hours in the U.S., that won’t always be the case moving forward. The Singapore event in January is one such example.

Instead of airing the event live during prime time in the U.S., it will air in the evening locally. UFC Fight Pass subscribers will be able to watch that show live—at 6:30 in the morning.

Fans will also get to watch past seasons of TUF, as well as other TV shows like Best of Pride and UFC Unleashed.

And don’t worry; this network isn’t exclusively centered on UFC programming. You’ll also be able to find plenty of Pride, Strikeforce and WEC programming form the past as well.

There will be even more details released during a special unveiling before UFC 168.
