The Case of the Spicy Pickle … Miesha Tate incites Phone Blitz on “rude” Gas Station Clerk (maybe it was Kim Winslow?)

Pickle on a StickDid you hear the one about Miesha Tate, the gas station attendant and a spicy pickle? Well, Tate recently posted about an unpleasant experience she had at a gas station. She explained on Facebook that while she was in line—buying a spicy pickle and gas—a fan chatted her up and asked for an autograph.

I guess the clerk gave her a hard time, gave Miesha the wrong receipt and didn’t load the payment onto the pump Miesha’s car was at. (If you’re keeping score at home, the receipt was for cough drops, not a spicy pickle and gas.)

After what Tate calls a rude remark by the clerk, she snapped, “I am the customer I can do whatever I want.” That might be a stretch. I don’t think there’s anything written in the customer service handbook that says a customer can literally do whatever they want, but anyway.

Tate told the entire story on Facebook and asked all her fans to bombard the clerk—Gale—with phone calls telling her what a bitch she was. Apparently they did. Based on the comments, it seems like they called nonstop—hell, they might STILL be calling.

So there you go. Who knew a spicy pickle would help create so many problems???
