Kaufman hilariously (and accurately) fires back at Tate’s problems with Carano/Rousey

Miesha TateYesterday Miesha Tate launched a few grenades in the direction of the persistent rumors surrounding a Gina Carano vs. Ronda Rousey fight. Quite simply, she’s opposed to it. While most sane people would agree with her in general, I can’t resist talking about Sarah Kaufman’s classic response, putting Tate in her place.

Taking a step back, here’s what Tate had to say about the topic of Carano getting an immediate title shot.

“It makes the women’s title hold no value. It makes it look like it’s a joke and they just put whatever’s going to sell. If we’re going to really legitimize women’s MMA as a sport and have it respected as a sport, then you have to treat it as such.”

I admit, she’s probably right. But wait. Kaufman fired a zinger back at Tate that made me laugh.

Ouch! Maybe Tate shouldn’t bitch about preferential treatment when she’s already been on the receiving end of the same type of treatment. Speaking of being on the receiving end, Tate’s also been on the receiving end of a brutal beating that mangled her face beyond recognition. Or was that an early stoppage, Miesha???
