GOATbracketWho’s ready for another meaningless fictional tournament bracket? Obviously we love spending time thinking about fantasy tournaments that will never happen around here, so count us in! ESPN and Sport Science have teamed up to put on a 16-man tourney to determine the Greatest Athlete of All Time. Man that sounds ominous. But one of our own is entered into the bracket—Anderson Silva. Surely he would do well in any kind of tournament right? Eh, I doubt it.

According to the “rules” of the tournament, the winner of each (more…)

I don’t often blatantly re-port articles from other MMA-related sites, but when I do, I re-post articles with epic titles like: Top 10 Matches That Were Never Made, which was just posted by Sherdog. And just for fun, I highlighted who I think would have won and gave my two cents on each fantasy fight. Ready for the list? Here goes… (more…)

Does anyone think Fabio Maldonado will beat Glover Teixeira? What about Jon Fitch over Erick Silva? And will Wagner Prado be able to upset Phil Davis? UFC 153 certainly is a bizarre card in that there are so many fights with long odds. The longest of which is the main event, but let’s put that on hold for now. We’ve already seen legends clash in the quarterfinals. Randy Couture defeated Mark Coleman; Royce Gracie defeated Tito Ortiz; Matt Hughes (more…)

Again, here’s the deal. Fans will decide the winners of an 8-man tournament of all the UFC Hall of Famers. The first two quarterfinal matchups (voting was last week) were Randy Couture vs. Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie vs. Tito Ortiz. Fans voted by the hundreds (more…)

The Chive caught up with the two UFC ring girl beauties last week to celebrate America’s independence and in no way to garner nation-wide attention with two bikini-clad women.

Enjoy America and remember nothing says “I love America” more than a red, white and blue bikini.
